
Early Friday morning, a vehicle chase in Lake View East ended with a crashed Nissan sedan at a bus stop and three people in police custody. The Chicago Sun-Times reported that the ordeal began around 3 a.m. when the black Nissan with four individuals inside was asked to stop by the police near the 3900 block of North Seminary Avenue. The car fled only to smash into a bus stop on the 3800 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive, Chicago police said.
The vehicle occupants attempted to escape on foot post-collision, but three were apprehended by law enforcement. During a search of the sedan, officers discovered two handguns and an undisclosed quantity of narcotics. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, no injuries were reported from this incident.
