Early this morning, violence erupted at Carl’s Motel El Padre on Biscayne Boulevard, leaving one man in critical condition after being shot multiple times. WSVN reported the shooting took place near 59th Street, with police responding to the distressing incident.
Authorities discovered the victim, a man his in 30s, and quickly acted to rush him to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. Local 10 detailed that the Miami police had initially been alerted to the shooting by a ShotSpotter notification at approximately 2:15 a.m. Officer Michael Vega stated that officers found the man who had been shot several times.
The exact circumstances that led to the shooting are still unclear. Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers and the Miami Police Department are currently seeking information from the public to assist in the investigation.
