
A 29-year-old man was assaulted and, subsequently robbed by an acquaintance and two unknown individuals in the Patch neighborhood, according to a report published by SLMPD. The incident transpired after the victim arrived on the 8400 block of S. Broadway with the intention of spending time with the acquaintance.
During the encounter, the man faced the threat of handguns and was left with multiple injuries after the assault. The assailants managed to escape with the victim's phone, identification, and money. Despite the violence of the episode, the man was listed in stable condition following the attack.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department's District 1 detectives are currently investigating the robbery as the search for the suspects continues. There is an appeal for anyone who might possess information that could contribute to the investigation to come forward.
