A Marietta resident has pled guilty to the serious charge of sexual exploitation of a child, as confirmed by the U.S Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. The defendant, Jukobie Allen Ramsey, 22, submitted his guilty plea to Sexual Exploitation of a Child/Use of a Child to Produce a Visual Depiction. According to court documents, from May 2021 through April 29, Ramsey used a minor in the production of sexually explicit material that was then transmitted across state lines via the internet.
This case was brought to light through the collaborative efforts of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Love County Sheriff's Office. The Honorable Gerald L. Jackson, a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, oversaw the plea agreement. Following the acceptance of Ramsey's plea, the court has requested a presentence investigation report to inform the upcoming sentencing phase. The culprit will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals Service until sentencing occurs.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Dak Cohen represented the government in the case.
