Memphis police have arrested 19-year-old Demario Wilson, accusing him of three counts of first-degree murder. Some of his earlier charges were dropped due to an improperly issued warrant. Wilson, already in custody, was linked to additional cold cases after an extensive investigation by local authorities, as per the WREG report. The Memphis Police Department (MPD) has connected him to several more homicides, expanding his criminal record.

On January 14, 2023, Memphis police responded to a call on Titus Road where two men were found shot. Wilson is believed to have fled the scene in a stolen vehicle he was driving before and during the incident. Action News 5 reports that the same suspect is thought to have been responsible for both shootings. Wilson's bond has been set at $4,545,000.

The District Attorney's office confirmed that Wilson, now facing adult charges, will appear in court on January 7. The teen, who is already facing seven charges and awaiting indictment for two counts of murder, was previously pursued by Memphis Police in November 2023 after leading them on a chase in a stolen car, which ended in a collision with a patrol car.

An investigation into a murder at Summit Arbors Circle in April led to the discovery of Wilson's connection to earlier homicides. He was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service on May 21 at the Summit Apartments in Bartlett for the shooting death of a man. Continued efforts by the Memphis Police Department (MPD) have gathered enough evidence to charge Wilson with three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, employing a weapon during a dangerous felony, theft of a motor vehicle, and tampering with evidence, according to FOX13 Memphis.
