A person was injured this morning after a homeowner reported to police the shooting of an intruder they believed was attempting to break into their home in northwest Miami-Dade County. Local 10 reported that the incident occurred at approximately 6:40 a.m., at a residence on Northwest 91 Court, near 181 Street.
According to WSVN, responding officers found the wounded suspect and transported them to the hospital in stable condition. The homeowner, having witnessed the alleged attempted break-in, claimed to have produced a firearm and subsequently shot the suspect in the leg.
