The Miami Dolphins and United Airlines teamed up to give a group of children from Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Centers a special holiday experience. The children, many facing health challenges, took off from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport on a "Fantasy Flight" to the "North Pole." The event, part of United Airlines’ holiday program, aimed to bring some festive joy to the families.

The Miami Dolphins went all out in decorating a flight hangar to mimic the North Pole, complete with Christmas presents for the children upon their "arrival." The children and their families joyfully explored the festive wonderland, creating lasting holiday memories, as reported by Local 10. The event scored big with the attendees, offering both the adventure of flight and the joy of a winter wonderland without leaving the familiar grounds of their home state.

The festivities also featured appearances by members of the Miami Dolphins, such as defensive tackle Zack Sieler, who found joy in the experience. "To hang out with the kids, see them and see them experience some of their first flights, and to have that experience, which is awesome to be able to do that," Sieler expressed, according to an interview by WSVN. Besides bringing smiles, the athletes took time to sign autographs for their young fans.

At the heart of the North Pole scene, Santa Claus and characters from the movie "Frozen" greeted the children, creating unforgettable moments. Along with these magical interactions, the children were also given presents, making the day even more special.
