Superior Court Clerk Linda Hays is retiring after dedicating 42 years of her life to public service. In recognition of her lengthy and esteemed career, a retirement celebration has been scheduled for Monday, Dec. 16. The event, as announced by the Newton County website, will be held at the Newton County Historic Courthouse and will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
