The City of Coral Springs is calling for nominations for the 2025 Business Excellence Awards, aiming to honor local businesses that have shown exemplary practices and contributed to the city's economic vitality.
The Coral Springs Economic Development Office is orchestrating this annual tribute, opening up nominations to business owners, employees, customers, or any individual who believes a company stands out in the community. Nominations can be submitted online through February 3, according to the city's announcement. A panel consisting of economic development specialists will be responsible for selecting the awardees, in categories like Best Large and Small Company, Company to Watch, Legacy Award, and several others aiming at different forms of excellence, including sustainability and community engagement.
The awards span seven distinct categories to reflect the diverse business landscape in Coral Springs. They range from recognizing businesses with more than 50 employees to those less than five years old that are showing significant growth. Also highlighted are businesses that have become pillars of the community for over two decades or ones that embody philanthropy and social engagement. There's even a special commendation for companies leading in sustainability practices and another, the Commissioners Award, that celebrates overall growth, positive corporate culture, and community involvement.
