The Antioch Police Department responded to multiple 911 calls just after 6:35 p.m. with reports of gunfire in the vicinity of the 1000 block of St. Frances Drive near Contra Loma Boulevard. CBS News San Francisco reported that authorities arrived to discover at least 53 expended shell casings at the scene.
Further investigation by the officers revealed damage inflicted by gunfire on at least three vehicles parked at Peter Piper Donuts on Contra Loma Blvd and two additional parked but unoccupied vehicles on St. Frances Drive. No gunshot victims were found or have yet come forward following the incident; police confirmed that the side of the donut shop had also been hit by bullets.
