The City of Pembroke Pines is hosting the 2025 Kindness Initiative Event on February 1, 2025 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way. The event aims to raise awareness for mental health and promote kindness. It is open to all ages.
According to a release from the City of Pembroke Pines, guests can participate in activities such as Yoga on the Plaza, share their hopes on the Tree of Hope and Wishes, and engage in Random Acts of Kindness. There will also be arts and crafts, including Friendship Bracelets and the planting the seeds of kindness activity. The public can take part in an Interactive Sidewalk Chalk Project hosted by Mellow Monkey Art.
The event is open to individuals, families, and friends. It will feature live entertainment, including musical performances, poetry readings, and dancing. The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking Holistic Market Vendors to showcase products such as jewelry, clothing, and food.
