
A man was fatally shot near Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix, and a suspect has since been arrested in connection to the incident. The shooting occurred last Friday evening, around 7:30 p.m., in the vicinity of Indian School Road and 7th Street, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix. The victim, identified as 33-year-old Rayeon McKinnon, was transported to the hospital but ultimately passed away due to his injuries.
Located a block east of the park, the Los Jardines Apartments became the center of a police investigation following the shooting. The suspected shooter, 55-year-old Henry Turner, was apprehended by authorities. He is now facing charges, being booked into jail on suspicion of murder and illegal possession of a firearm, given his status as a prohibited possessor, in a statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix.
