A fatal shooting in Pompano Beach has prompted an investigation after one person was killed, and two others were critically injured this afternoon. According to WSVN, the Broward Sheriff’s Office and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene near Northeast 10th Street and 11th Avenue. 

CBS Miami reports that the incident, which took place around 2 p.m. in the 1100 block of Northeast 10th Street, resulted in the death of an adult male at the scene. The two other victims, currently unnamed, were taken in critical condition to North Broward Hospital. As of now, the identity of the deceased has not been made public, and investigators are still piecing together the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.

Details regarding the perpetrator of the violent incident remain scarce. Authorities have not issued a description of the suspect responsible for the shooting. The Broward Sheriff’s Office has yet to release any information on potential motives or connections between the assailant and the victims.

However, law enforcement officials are on the lookout for a suspect who, according to investigators, fled the scene in a vehicle described as a gold or copper Lexus or Mercedes. This specific piece of information about the suspect's vehicle has been highlighted by CBS Miami as a possible lead in their ongoing investigation.
