The fire, which erupted at the corner of W St John St. and N Almaden Blvd, prompted the firefighters to issue a second alarm, signaling a potential risk to nearby structures.
The SJFD's diligent efforts ensured the fire was contained to the main structure, raising a collective sigh of relief from the community. According to a social media post from the San José Fire Department, "A precautionary second alarm was requested due to adjacent structures threatened. Fire was contained to main structure. No injuries."
