Authorities in Williamson County are on the hunt for a suspect following a violent armed robbery at a Sonic restaurant in the Grassland area. The incident occurred late Tuesday night, around the time the establishment was closing. A masked individual brandishing a weapon demanded money and assaulted the manager, reports WSMV.

The ordeal continued outside the fast-food chain when the suspect forced the victim to enter a vehicle occupied by three other persons. During this interim, the victim was subjected to additional physical assault and threats before being released in a nearby neighborhood. The manager sustained injuries that were serious but not life-threatening, requiring medical attention, according to Williamson Source.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office has released images of the suspect, who concealed their face with the hoodie during the crime. While the exact amount of money taken has not been disclosed, the office is actively seeking to identify the suspects involved. The sheriff's office, along with Crime Stoppers, is urging anyone with information related to the crime, or who may have noted suspicious behavior near the time of the incident, to come forward, as stated in a report by Fox 17.
