On Monday afternoon, the San Francisco Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the Bayview district that has now resulted in a homicide investigation. According to the SFPD's official statement, officers were dispatched at around 3:05 p.m. to the intersection of Selby and Toland Street after reports of gunfire.
The officers, arriving shortly after the call, found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite providing immediate aid and summoning paramedics to the scene, the victim was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital.
