Residents of Salt Lake City can anticipate a shift in the weather pattern as we move forward into December. According to the National Weather Service, today's conditions have been partly sunny with temperatures peaking near 57 degrees, accompanied by light and variable wind. While the evening will bring partly cloudy skies, the low is expected to settle around 35 degrees.
As for the start of the work week, Monday looks to bring with it more sun, promising a high around 60 and light east winds that will persist into the night, calming to a light breeze from the north-northeast in the evening. The forecast for Tuesday paints a similar picture, introducing partly sunny skies and a high that nudges a bit warmer, reaching up to 62 degrees, before the calm of the morning is gently disturbed by an east-northeast wind around 5 mph.
A continuance of this pattern is expected for the midweek. The National Weather Service informs that Wednesday will be sunny with a daytime high hovering near 61 degrees. The night will introduce a mostly clear sky and temperatures dipping slightly to a low of around 37. Similar conditions are facing those in Salt Lake City on Thursday, with the sun dominating the sky and the mercury rising to a comfortable 60 degrees.
Rolling into the end of the week, the weather continues its steady, generous offering of sunshine. Friday stays entrenched in the pattern of sunny skies with a high once again near 60, with the night bringing mostly clear conditions and a low around 36, consistent with what has been the trend of late. The forecast from the National Weather Service does not deviate much for Saturday, calling for abundant sunshine with an anticipated high of 62 degrees.
