Authorities in Tamarac are intensifying efforts to locate Treqjaun Holden, a 26-year-old man whose disappearance has raised concerns within the local community. Holden, who was last seen last Friday along the 7400 block of Northwest 75th Street, is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. According to a report by WSVN, he was last seen wearing a red shirt and black pants.
The Broward Sheriff's Office has issued an appeal for public assistance in their search and is urging anyone with information about Holden's whereabouts to come forward. Noteworthily, Holden's family has informed detectives that he is on the autism spectrum and is partially verbal - a detail that underscores the urgency of locating him. In a statement obtained by WSVN, officials have encouraged individuals to contact BSO Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268 or to call the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357) with any potentially relevant information.
In addition to the efforts from the sheriff's office, a social media post from the Broward Sheriff's Office's official account echoes the call for public engagement. The post features a photo of Holden and reiterates key details about his appearance and condition that may aid in his identification.
