Early this morning, a shooting outside an IHOP on Miramar Parkway in Miramar, Florida, left three individuals hospitalized. According to WSVN, the shooting transpired shortly after 1:00 a.m., with Miramar Police responding to the scene following multiple emergency calls. A police scanner captured the urgency of the moment: "Shooting by Miramar Parkway and Red Road. Receiving two calls. Callers advised that someone got shot[…]About five or six rounds. Advised that subject ran that he had[…]," said a dispatcher over Broadcastify.
All three victims were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital; their conditions remain undisclosed at this time. As per WSVN, the unsettling detail was relayed: "There is a person on the floor. A lot of blood. Advising one or two people are also injured outside. Be advised we have one victim shot in the leg. We have two Black female with gun shot wounds. One shot in the head and one shot in the torso."
Images and brief reports also emerged on social media platforms like Instagram, where The Breaking News Reporter advised their followers to "Stay safe out there something went down at the IHOP on Miramar parkway and Red Road multi people shot."
Two vehicles, marked with bullet holes and bloodstains, were towed from the scene. Police remained on site for hours, gathering information about the shooting.
