
Following a theft at a West Memphis GameStop, three men led Arkansas State Police on a high-speed chase last Saturday before being apprehended. According to a statement from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, the incident began around 11 a.m. when suspects stole merchandise from the gaming store and fled in a white Nissan Maxima.
The vehicle was spotted at Avalon Street and the East Service Road, leading an Arkansas State Trooper to begin a pursuit. The suspects sped through residential areas at over 100 mph, ignoring safety. A tactical intervention at Broadway Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive ended the chase. Officers recovered over $2,600 in stolen goods.
The suspects, Dennis Davis, 27, Davion Lawson, 30, and Bobby Logwood, 33, from Memphis, Tennessee, face multiple charges. Davis, the driver, is charged with Theft of Property, Reckless Driving, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Fleeing, and other traffic violations. Lawson and Logwood are charged with Theft of Property and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All three were booked into the Crittenden County Detention Center.
