Two Miami-Dade Police officers collided with each other while responding to a call this morning in Southwest Miami-Dade, at the intersection of Coral Way and Southwest 137th Avenue.
According to CBS Miami, the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m., and both officers were taken to the hospital as a precaution. They are in stable condition. The intersection was temporarily closed while investigations into the crash took place.
WSVN reported that the exact circumstances of the collision remain under review, and the expectation shared by officials is that both officers will be OK.
