
A chimney fire in Williamson County on Thursday afternoon led to the response of multiple agencies, causing minor injuries to two residents and a firefighter. According to a WKRN report, the incident took place shortly before 2 p.m. on Hillview Lane. Smoke was seen billowing from the eaves and flames engulfed the first floor, with additional damage reported in the attic and basement.
Williamson County Fire Rescue's Facebook post detailed the response to a call involving several agencies due to the fire's close proximity to Franklin City. The teams included Franklin Fire, Arrington Fire, Williamson County EMA, and Williamson Health EMS. Confirming the need for extra supplies, the post mentioned, "Several Tankers were requested as well due to hydrant being located down the road." Two individuals at the scene received medical treatment for minor smoke inhalation injuries.
