Arroyo's track record includes a significant stint as Vice President of the East Aurora District 131 Board of Education since 2015. There he has worked tirelessly to quickly reinforce student achievement and manage school district policies and budgets, as detailed in an official statement. His hands-on experience comes from not just his educational role but also from his professional life, where he has been employed as a flight attendant for United Airlines since 1994.
Apart from his school board endeavors, Arroyo has also devoted his time to serving the public in various capacities. His past includes working as a staffer for then-State Representative Linda Chapa LaVia, where he coordinated veterans' job fairs and community outreach initiatives. Moreover, his engagement with local organizations such as the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement and the Aurora Historical Society reflects his deep commitment to the community he is now set to govern.
