"Highs Sunday will push into the 40s," the National Weather Service stated, indicating relief that carries us away from the bite of the mountain chill lingering at 20s and 30s.
Baltimore's outlook for the week remains dry and mild, thanks partly to high pressure that will maintain a grip on the region through midweek. On Tuesday, the NWS provided detailed expectations: Highs in the upper 30s to upper 40s and possibly the low 50s. However, the potential arrival of a weak low-pressure system on Monday and an additional cold front by mid-next week cast a shadow of uncertainty on the long-term perspective.
For aviation interests, VFR conditions are anticipated to predominate until Saturday night. Winds, shifting westerly due to an upper-level trough, could gust up to 15 knots today. According to NWS projections, marine conditions are similarly stable, with winds potentially reaching Small Craft Advisory (SCA) levels by Saturday night.
