
On Tuesday evening, the Boston Police Department's Human Trafficking Unit, along with officers from District D-14 (Brighton/Allston). A New York resident, Xiaofeng Wang, aged 26, was arrested on the grounds of human trafficking and related prostitution charges in Brighton, according to the Boston Police Department.
Following an investigation by officers into possible commercial sex activities at 55 Brighton Avenue, the event occurred. Detectives thoroughly investigated the claims, obtaining intelligence and surveillance to support the information provided. Xiaofeng Wang led an undercover investigator to 55 Brighton Avenue as intended, first across the street and then inside the building. Other officers arrived swiftly and arrested Wang. Two apartments connected to the illicit operations were discovered by the officers during their search of the property, as reported by the Boston Police Department.
Xiaofeng Wang was arrested by Boston Police on charges of "Human Trafficking" and "Deriving Support from Prostitution." He will be arraigned in Brighton District Court. Authorities also seized approximately $7,021.00 in US currency during the investigation, as stated by the Boston Police Department.
