A man was killed and a vehicle crashed into a building on Dorchester Avenue last Sunday morning. The driver and passenger were critically injured. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m., according to NBC Boston.

An adult male was killed in a crash near Andrew Square, with the driver and passenger taken to hospitals in critical condition. The accident caused road closures at Andrew Square and the nearby I-93 ramp, disrupting MBTA services. The victim’s identity has not been released, as reported by WCVB

Randall Burgess, a witness in a wheelchair, described the crash: "There was two impacts, the impact from the vehicle hitting the person and the vehicle going into the wall." He tried to help, saying, "When I rushed over on my scooter, I went to the vehicle first and I opened the door and asked the gentleman if he was okay," but the driver replied, "He said he was hurting and he was moaning I said 'stay right there, I'll be right back'. Then I went over to the middle of the street to see if the man on the pavement was alright, but I could tell he was already dead." Local resident Margaret Cheberek pointed out that this was the second fatal accident at the intersection in two years, adding, "Unfortunately, an accident had to happen like this today to make people more aware that there needs to be more safety guidelines in this intersection." The Boston Police Department is investigating, as stated by WCVB
