Chicago Police, alongside the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Task Force, have apprehended 25-year-old Zycarr Cole in connection to a string of armed robberies that terrorized four individuals last November in the city's South Side. The arrest took place on January 8, 2025, after Cole was located at his residence on the 1300 block of W. 73rd Pl., as stated in a press release from the Chicago Police Department.
Charged with four felony counts of robbery, all allegedly carried out at gunpoint, this suspect is now facing the considerable gravity of the law, with details pointing to a premeditated string of crimes targeting a 32-year-old male, a 33-year-old female, a 41-year-old male, and a 48-year-old male in the 7500 block of S. Cottage Grove Ave. all of whom had their peace and possessions forcefully taken from them during these harrowing incidents.
Court documents indicate that the detention hearing for Cole is set for today, January 10, 2025, at the courthouse location of 2600 S. California.
