The Chicago Police Department has issued an alert for a missing person, named Curtis Thomas, a 63-year-old male last seen on the South Side of Chicago. Thomas, who may require medical attention, was last spotted on the 6800 block of South Prairie Ave. Height is listed at five feet seven inches and he weighs roughly 130 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair.
According to the Chicago Police Department's report, Thomas was wearing a distinctive ensemble of a multi-color skull cap, multi-color jacket, light green pants, and black shoes at the time of his disappearance. He was also carrying a white suitcase, a detail that could make him more noticeable to the public. Carrying a white suitcase, Thomas also has a dark complexion and is of the Black racial group.
The authorities have reached out to the community for assistance in locating the missing man and stress that he might be in need of urgent medical care. The Chicago Police have called on anyone with information regarding Thomas's whereabouts to immediately contact the Area One Special Victims Unit at (312) 747-8385 or dial 911 in the event of an emergency.
