The California Highway Patrol has issued an Ebony Alert for 17-year-old Aniya Maxey, who has been missing since last Friday. Maxey was last seen in San Francisco at noon and is thought to be traveling on foot.
The young woman is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She wore a black puffer jacket and gray sweatpants when she was last seen.
The CHP activated the alert on behalf of the East Palo Alto Police Department. The community is urged to stay vigilant and report any sightings directly by calling 9-1-1, as per CHP Alerts.
