Clackamas County Sheriff Investigates Suspicious Encounter Near Local School Bus Stop

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating a report of a suspicious encounter involving a high school student and an unidentified man near a local bus stop. According to official sources, the incident occurred yesterday morning when a teenage girl waiting for the school bus on SE Monterey Ave near SE 90th Ave was approached by the man.

Following the unsettling exchange, the student boarded her school bus and informed the driver of what had transpired, who then promptly notified the authorities. A School Resource Officer (SRO) from the Sheriff's Office was directed to investigate the situation. The Sheriff's Office is working in conjunction with the North Clackamas School District to address the matter. The individual in question is said to be a Hispanic male believed to be between the ages of 40-50, driving a beige or champagne colored Kia Rio, as detailed by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
