According to a news release reported by NBC Chicago, the company plans to open its doors in Willowbrook at Hinsdale Lake Commons on January 18, followed by a South Elgin store at Silver Glen Crossing a week later, offering home décor, kitchenware, beauty products, stationery, and Japanese snacks. Growing demand has been met with enthusiasm by the company for their distinctive offerings in Willowbrook and South Elgin, cited by the company’s jubilant executives.
Both stores promise a "treasure-hunt shopping experience," which has become a cornerstone of Daiso's global brand. These stores will operate Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., ensuring ample opportunity for customers to explore their product assortment. As a part of the grand opening celebrations, Daiso announced through a PR Newswire piece picked up by WCIA, the first 100 customers at both locations, on both days of the weekend, who spend a minimum of $30 will receive a special Daiso goodie bag, which marks a thank-you gesture for their support.
