The Parking Services Lobby at 290 NE 3rd Avenue will be closing for a few hours to accommodate some team-building exercises for the department staff. According to the City of Fort Lauderdale's official announcement published today, those who need to carry out any parking service business in person will have to work around the temporary lobby closure set for Thursday, February 6, when the doors will shut between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The city’s website confirms that the online Parking Portal will remain fully functional, allowing residents to manage their parking needs without interruption.
The city acknowledges the inconvenience of a temporary lobby closure, offering an early apology despite it being a minor disruption, extending their "We apologize for any inconvenience" to the public, as stated in their recent news release. Concerned citizens or those with questions are directed to reach out via email at [email protected] or to get on the horn and call the City Call Center at 954-828-8000 should they need assistance during the lobby's dormant period.
