Early this morning, a tragic accident occurred on Knight Valley Drive near Currey Road, claiming the life of a local man. The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Brian Morwood of Goodlettsville, according to a report from the Nashville government. Morwood was behind the wheel of a Nissan Sentra when the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree head-on around 1 a.m.
First responders transported Morwood to Vanderbilt University Medical Center following the accident, where he was later pronounced dead.
