
Lebanon Police Department responded to a situation at a local Walmart late Saturday night after receiving reports of shots fired. The store, located on South Cumberland Street, was promptly evacuated with no injuries being reported, according to WKRN. In light of the incident, police issued a shelter-in-place advisory to residents within a mile radius of the Walmart as the investigation unfolded.

Officials described the suspect as a black male, last seen in a black jacket and gray pants, potentially driving a green vehicle. The Lebanon Police Department disseminated images of a person of interest related to the incident and asked the public for help in identifying him. The LPD has emphasized that there is no credible evidence to believe the public is in danger.
As the LPD continued their investigation, they lifted the shelter-in-place order before midnight, allowing employees to reenter the premises. The brief but intense episode is believed by authorities to be an isolated event between two individuals, as per a statement obtained by WSMV. The LPD maintains that the suspect's identity and the motives behind the incident remain under investigation.
