Despite this closure, the caffeine needs of downtown denizens are to be easily still satiated with two Starbucks stores remaining nearby, one at E. Santa Clara and 5th streets and another at 150 S. First Street. Alongside the chain coffee options, locals can pivot to Voyager Craft Coffee or the Urban Ritual boba shop within San Pedro Square Market. Meanwhile, the total tally of Starbucks locations within San Jose hovers around the 50 mark, ensuring the brand's prominent footprint remains unaffected on a citywide scale.

A goodbye note from the staff and district manager was posted for regulars of the now-closed Starbucks, expressing gratitude, as per the SiliconValley: "We would like to thank you for being part of our store community; you are the heart of who we are at Starbucks. It has been a great pleasure to connect with you every day." Baristas from the shuttered shop are expected to be reassigned to nearby locations or other Starbucks shops in the South Bay area, ensuring employment continuity amidst the change.
