A 27-year-old man has been arrested following an incident where shots were fired outside of a Lebanon Walmart this past weekend. Davin Rolle was taken into custody on charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment, as confirmed by the Lebanon Police Department. The arrest was made after police received a tip about his location at an apartment on Rome Pike on Tuesday morning, as reported by NewsChannel5.

During the event on Saturday night, just after 10 p.m., shoppers were sent into a panic, looking for shelter after a gunshot rang out. This led the police to issue a shelter-in-place for the nearby area as they secured the scene. Surveillance footage, released by the Lebanon police, revealed Rolle exiting the Walmart and getting into an altercation with another man at the store's entrance. It was then that Rolle was seen drawing his weapon and firing a shot that hit the ground. According to WKRN, surveillance video provided by the police showed Rolle holding what appeared to be a pistol before discharging it.

Despite the tension of the scene, Lebanon's local law enforcement was on-site rapidly. "Officers arrived on scene within three minutes and immediately began clearing the Walmart there," Public Information Officer Zach Patton said, in an interview with WKRN. A subsequent investigation worked to piece together the circumstances surrounding the altercation, with authorities exploring the nature of the relationship between Rolle and the other individuals involved.

In the aftermath of the incident, Walmart was evacuated, and operations resumed approximately two hours later, allowing customers to return albeit amidst heightened anxiety. "I went up to my mom and said did you see what just happened? We were there today. It was just crazy," stated a shopper named Emily, recounting the experience, in a statement obtained by WSMV.

The Lebanon Police Department continues to investigate the matter and asks anyone with further information about the incident to call 615-444-2323.
