San Mateo County Sheriff's Office has recently fortified its ranks with the strategic addition of Manjit Sappal, a seasoned law enforcement professional with nearly 30 years of police experience. Sheriff Christina Corpus confirmed that Sappal will serve as a contractor, tendering his expertise to enhance the office's operations.

As per the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Corpus expressed enthusiasm for the new collaboration. "Manjit is a well-respected and highly experienced law enforcement leader, and I’m thrilled he has come on board as a contractor with the Sheriff’s Office," she said. Sappal is anticipated to work on special projects and provide support in the day-to-day functioning of the team.

The breadth of Sappal's experience spans across various departments, touching all corners of police work. He has served the Pittsburg Police Department and Richmond Police Department and retired as the Chief of Police from the Martinez Police Department. His experience encompasses patrol, investigations, and several specialized policing functions, marking him as an asset to the team he now joins.
