In a press release shared by the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, the details were confirmed of Eilers' arrest on Monday.

Christine Eilers is currently being held in the McHenry County Jail. Her charges include a Class 4 felony for leaving the scene of a crash involving death, and a Class 1 felony for failure to comply/report a crash involving death.
