
An officer-involved shooting that took place yesterday at Cumberland Crossing Apartments on Rio Vista Drive is currently under investigation by the Metro Nashville Police Department.
The confrontation occurred after an armed man emerged from a stolen sedan and was met by two Metro Nashville Police Department detectives. According to a social media post by the MNPD, the individual was wounded with a gun in hand. The vehicle had been reported carjacked from Cheyenne Boulevard on the preceding Sunday night.
