Miami’s weather today starts with patchy morning fog, which will clear to a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures reaching around 76°F. According to the National Weather Service, light, variable winds will shift to a northward flow at 5 to 10 mph as the morning progresses.
As reported by NBC Miami, the humidity will decrease as the day goes on, making the afternoon feel less muggy. This drop in humidity signals the passage of a cold front through South Florida. While isolated showers are possible, little rainfall is expected as the front is forecast to be dry. Evening temperatures will drop into the low 60s, which is typical for January but may feel cooler due to lower humidity.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, the National Weather Service predicts a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the low 70s. There is a chance of a stray shower. A northeast wind of 10 to 14 mph, with gusts up to 21 mph, will accompany the weather. Another cold front is expected to further lower temperatures slightly.
Towards the end of the week, NBC Miami reports clear skies and highs in the low 70s, with cool nights in the mid-50s. The weekend will bring warmer temperatures, potentially reaching the high 70s or even 80°F.
