A 59-year-old male, driving a 2019 Honda Civic, was northbound when he attempted to make a left turn. Concurrently, a 42-year-old male on a 2020 Triumph motorcycle traveled northbound behind the Civic. In a bid to pass, the car struck the motorcycle as it turned, sometimes showing how swiftly routine commutes can turn treacherous.
The force of the collision was significant enough to fracture the motorcyclist's left femur. Paramedics quickly arrived at the scene to provide necessary medical attention before transporting the injured man to a local area hospital.
