
A severe vehicle collision at 6th and Harrison streets resulted in multiple injuries and one fatality. The crash involving at least six vehicles unfolded around 6:08 p.m. yesterday, according to a social media post by the San Francisco Police Department.

On Sunday, Jan 19, at approximately 6:08 p.m., officers responded to 6th and Harrison streets regarding a vehicle collision. Officers arrived on scene and located at least six vehicles that were struck by another vehicle.

The aftermath left several people trapped in their damaged vehicles, with first responders quickly rescuing them. Many were taken to local hospitals, some with serious injuries. Sadly, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and a dog also died in the crash. The suspect, who was also injured, was taken to the hospital and remains in custody while the investigation continues.
