The search to identify an unknown woman, called "Vandy Doe," has taken a new turn. The Metro Nashville Police Department recently updated her age estimate, now saying she was likely between 21 and 35 years old when she died, instead of the earlier estimate of 15 to 25, according to WKRN.

The remains of an unidentified woman were found in September 2018 on Sulpher Creek Road, wearing clothing from Vanderbilt University. Nearly seven years later, Metro police are still asking for help to identify her. Forensic artists believe she was a Black or possibly Hispanic female, around 5'0" to 5'5" tall, with black, curly hair. She wore a black Under Armour hoodie and ZooZatz leggings with the Vanderbilt "V" insignia. Anyone with information is urged to contact Cold Case Detective Matt Filter, as reported by FOX17.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department on their Facebook page, the identity of an unknown woman, referred to as "Vandy Doe," remains a mystery after her body was found with no signs of a traffic accident. Metro Nashville Police Department  has not found any matching missing persons cases and is asking the public for help, sharing updated details to try to identify her and bring closure to the case.
