Murfreesboro residents experienced a tumultuous start to the new year when a three-vehicle collision resulted in one car crashing into an apartment complex at the intersection of Middle Tennessee Boulevard and Bradyville Pike. WKRN reported that the crash occurred without serious injury to any of the involved parties.
The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department (MFRD) was dispatched to the scene, where they found that a car had struck a building of Chelsea Place Apartments. After the arrival, according to the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department's Facebook page, Engine 3 requested the assistance of the Structural Collapse Unit to evaluate the safety of the building and to carry out necessary stabilization measures before the vehicle was extracted.
All individuals involved in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Notably, one person was inside the apartment at the time of the impact but was reportedly unharmed. This was confirmed by the firefighters on the ground and reported by both WSMV and the MFRD's official social media statement.
