Tragedy struck Parkway Village just after midnight when gunfire erupted, resulting in one fatality and leaving another man critically injured. The Memphis Police Department confirmed that the shooting took place around 12:30 a.m. on Dungreen Street near Chuck Avenue and Knight Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered two male victims with gunshot wounds. Action News 5 reports that one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to Regional One in critical condition.
The Memphis Police have managed to quickly take two suspects into custody in connection with the shooting. Details surrounding the events leading up to the incident have yet to be fully disclosed, and police have not released further information about the suspects.
