
A tragic two-car collision last night in Murfreesboro resulted in one fatality and left several individuals injured, according to local authorities. The Murfreesboro Police Department reported that the incident took place just before 6:45 p.m. on Middle Tennessee Boulevard in the stretch between Park Avenue and Haley Road, as per a release by WSMV.
The collision that was severe enough to shut down Middle Tennessee Boulevard for a duration carried on into the evening, as WKRN reports. The police have revealed that of the injuries sustained by the victims, one person's condition is critical, while two others remain stable in a hospital.
As per WGNS, Murfreesboro Police Public Information Officer Larry Flowers said, “Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services transported several injured patients to the ER, and one person is confirmed dead, one is in critical condition and two others are listed as stable.” The police department's Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) has been tasked with untangling the specifics of this incident to understand what precipitated the deadly event.
