The community of Plantation is on alert as authorities are actively searching for Darian Ramnarine, a 16-year-old boy who vanished over a week ago. WSVN reported that Ramnarine was last seen last Thursday, around 12:30 PM near the vicinity of 4400 SW 1st St in the city.
Ramnarine has been described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Witnesses reported he was last observed entering a dark grey Kia Optima, which has led authorities to consider him a runaway as opposed to an abduction case. The Plantation Police, in their effort to locate the missing teen, has urged the public to come forward with any potentially helpful information.
In a concerted effort to spread awareness, the Plantation Police Department also used social media to appeal for assistance. Their official X account posted a missing juvenile notice which reiterated the description of Ramnarine and the last known details surrounding his disappearance.
