The meetings hosted by Trump are set to take place at the Trump National Doral where discussions will focus on border security, energy, and tax reforms as stated by Local 10. Trump will be strategizing with fellow Republicans, led by House Speaker Mike Johnson, to advance the party's legislative priorities. During his travels, addressing the local law enforcement, arrested a man for making social media threats against him and found in possession of cocaine.
In a statement obtained by NBC Miami, Trump spoke about his desire to reform the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), advocating for a system where "states take care of their own problems." His administration has also begun the declassification process for files linked to historic assassinations and warned at the World Economic Forum of impending tariffs for non-American made products.
However, President Trump's recent executive order, which sought to halt U.S. citizenship at birth for children of undocumented immigrants, has been temporarily blocked by a federal judge. "I'm really happy to see the judge express that same viewpoint that in four decades, he had never seen something so obviously unconstitutional," Washington State Attorney General Nick Brown told NBC Miami, marking it as a clear setback for the Trump agenda.
