
A Quincy High School varsity cheer coach is currently the subject of an investigation by the school district following allegations of providing students with alcohol and marijuana, according to a statement from Quincy Public Schools Superintendent Kevin W. Mulvey; the accusations also include the sharing of inappropriate images online and the violation of student confidentiality.
Mulvey detailed in his letter to the school community, obtained by WCVB, that the incidents occurred "on at least one occasion" and that affected students and their families have been duly informed—meanwhile, the implicated employee has been placed on administrative leave with the investigation ongoing the school district's not fully informed yet about all aspects of this matter.
The individual in question has not been publicly identified, and further details remain sparse, with both the nature of the images and the specific private information allegedly shared not being disclosed at this time.
