Raymond B. Melanson III, 44, of Revere, was arrested in Boston today. The arrest was made by the Revere Police, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, Massachusetts State Police, Boston Police, and U.S. Marshals, as reported by the Revere Police Department.
Authorities began searching for Melanson after a shooting in Revere, Massachusetts, on January 3. The Revere Police Department announced that Melanson faces multiple charges, including Assault with Intent to Kill, Assault and Battery with a Firearm, and various firearms-related offenses, following an outstanding warrant.
According to the Revere Police Department on their Facebook page, Melanson is facing multiple charges, with his first court appearance at Chelsea District Court to determine the next steps in the legal process. The case will be based on the evidence presented.
